The Lilo and Stitch franchise, based on the 2002 animated feature film written and directed by Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois, includes three direct-to-video and television sequel films, several short films, a TV series, video games, theme park attractions, comics and merchandise. Masquerading as a dog, an alien experiment named 626 is adopted by a Hawaiian girl named Lilo Pelekai (Daveigh Chase) and renamed Stitch. Originally created through genetic engineering by alien mad scientist Dr. Jumba Jookiba to cause chaos and destruction, Stitch finds his true home with the members of Lilo’s ohana, a group consisting of her older sister Nani, her legal guardian and partner in crime Agent Pleakley, and Stitch’s Earth-loving friend, Jumba.
